The house sits on 7.5 acres which includes hiking trails throughout Merrill Mountain Forest that can be accessed from the property. A 400-foot driveway lined with flowers leads up to this beautiful cabin property that is surrounded with an endless amount of color.  The driveway is meticulously maintained throughout the summer and winter. This house is ADA friendly and is complete with a wheelchair ramp.  This house would be excellent for weddings, family reunions, corporate events, or any gathering for a group large or small. 

Enjoy the sounds and beauty of Wadsworth Brook which borders and cuts through the property while you enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner outside on the big wooded deck.

Flowers that bloom during the Spring and Summer provide a bright accent to the green hues of Merrill Mountain Forest that surround the property and the city of Hiram Maine in Oxford County.

The Hiram Hideaway has all new furniture and comfortably sleeps 14 persons with 7 beds including 2 pullout sofa beds. One is a day bed and the other is a trundle bed which has two twin mattresses.

Coffee maker and french press, blender, knife set, full pots and pans, placement settings for 20 persons, new dishwasher, oven and stove, BBQ grill, electric pressure cooker and full-size refrigerator

Large wooden deck that provides scenic views of the wooded area. This deck faces the sun which provides a perfect setting for early morning coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. 

The lower boardwalk deck provides access to the daylight basement and is complete with a swinging bench. This deck is covered with a metal roof which allows you to stay dry while listening to the melody of the raindrops.
